The next day, Kaleb woke up to the sound of the gate opening.

It was a guard, accompanied by another huachi. This one was different, they had a darker blue color than the rest, and their build was a little more muscular than the other huachi.

The huachi had a pair of straps that apparently attached a huge hook to their back, made of rock or bone. The boy couldn't distinguish it well, but it looked rigid and it was white.

The Huachi Warrior swam up to Kaleb and looked at him for a moment.

-Hello -Kaleb said doubtfully.

The warrior smiled.

-Hell-oo -he answered the boy.

-I'm Kaleb.

-I know who yoo oor. The hyooman with the Vo' Cas'cielt. My name is Tabet, a woor-ee-oor choo-sen by the Huachi Kingdom.

-Nice to meet you -said Kaleb.

Tabet gave a little bow of his head, smiling at the boy's manners.

-What do you need from me? -Kaleb asked.

-I want to know who will guide me on the joor-nee that oohwaits us.

-I haven't accepted it yet.

Tabet stared at the boy, puzzled.

-I thought yoo wanted to get out oof here. Ee-scape from the poor-ee-son, like us huachi.

-Yes, that has been my goal from the beginning, only...

-It is noor-mal to be oofraid, the troo power is not in having it, but in con-toor-ooling it -said the warrior-. How did yoo get here? -Tabet asked the boy.

-I was investigating something about the one who locked us up, but he discovered me and locked me up here.

The huachi warrior let out a laugh that made Kaleb jump a little.

-I knew it! -said Tabet-. I knew yoo woor a woor-ee-oor too. I know one when I see one -he enthused.

-I wasn't so much of a warrior, I was more of a kind of... agent.

-In yoor world, do yoo fight the evool of Acq' Aht -he asked seriously.

-Yes.

-So, yoo are a woor-ee-oor. Eh-nee-woon who fights Acq' Aht is an hon-oor-bool woor-ee-oor.

Tabet took a conch from his waist, took a small sip, then offered it to Kaleb. Kaleb looked at the conch, doubtful.

-It is a huachi po-shoon, to heal and recover energy. Durr-rink, it will do yoo good.

Kaleb agreed, looked at the conch for a moment, and took a drink. The concoction tasted strange, however, the taste was soon forgotten, as the boy began to feel its effects immediately. The tiredness of his body and his minor pains, such as that in his wristd, vanished.

Kaleb's eyes widened in surprise.

Tabet laughed when he saw the human boy's face.

-Good, right? -he asked with a smile.

-Can I? -Kaleb said as he gestured for the warrior's permissioin to take another drink.

-It's yoors. I will get ah-noo-thurr. My gift to yoo -said Tabet.

-Thank you -the confused boy replied-. Don't you think I'm evil? -he asked honestly, intrigued by the strange kindness of the huachi warrior.

-If yoo decide to guide me on the joor-nee, we have to turr-rust ee-choother. Besides, if yoo reel-ee were an en-ee-mee of the Acq' Aht and that's why they locked yoo up here, yoo might be joost what we needed -he said.

Kaleb was engaged.

-Why did they imprison you here? -Kaleb asked.

-The elders say it was the foolt of the hyoomans. They say that hyoomans are the moost influenced by the powoor of the Acq' Aht.

Kaleb looked down.

-But we huachis have a poor-oh-fuh-see that says that only a woor-ee-oor led by the Vo Cas'cielt too-geh-thoor with the choo-sen cham-pee-yoon, will be able to free Huachi from the ee-toor-nool night.

Kaleb looked at you.

-Eternal night? >

-How do they expect you and Kaleb to guide them? >
