-I wasn't sure about sharing this information with you until I was sure you were going to help me. But now I see that I can trust you.

-The place where I find myself has no escape, it's blank page after blank page. Then, on one of those occasions when I was desperately thinking of a way out, I said to myself, 'I wish there was something, a window, a passageway, a door, whatever.' And then I considered it, of course. They are blank sheets, aren't they? Who says I can't draw my own door?

-So what I want you to do is draw a door next to me. If my plan works, I can get through it and out of here. I would have done it myself, but when I showed up here I had nothing with me but the clothes I was wearing. But you can do it with something out there, anything, a pen or pencil, or even a crayon!
