-Stay... please -Nango said as her hand clenched, crumpling the boy's shirt.

Kaleb looked at you and smiled, then he met Nango's eyes and nodded, tears running down his cheeks.

Nango looked at him and smiled happily as a sharp little sigh came softly from the huachi's mouth. Her pupils dilated again and she lunged at the boy with a hug, so hard it nearly knocked Kaleb off balance.

Nango took the boy's face in her hands and slowly brought his head closer to her own, until both foreheads met. Nango could feel the pleasant temperature of the boy and seeing his eyes full of tears, she laughed tenderly.

-I didn't kow that hyoomans durr-rew water -joked Nango, who also had tears running down her face.

Kaleb laughed and took the girl in his arms, while closing his eyes.

-I'm going to get yoo out of here, Kaleb -said the princess.

For the first time in a long time, Kaleb felt totally happy. Nothing about the monstrosities that inhabited the world worried him. The only thing he could think about was dancing with the huachi princess. Perhaps that was what caused him to move his head slightly with a rather gentle meandering movement. The princess, also with her eyes closed, followed his rhythm without taking her head off him for a moment. Then she gave a small laugh.

-We oor... dancing? -asked Nango.

Kaleb nodded slowly, as he continued the action, the gentle movement of both of them making light ripples in the water around them.

Both of them had forgotten all the horror of the outside world. They had found a jovial and calm place in that moment together. Maybe... that prevented them from hearing the dungeon door opening, when they were abruptly interrupted with shouts by the huachi guard who was standing at the entrance to the cell.

-I'ch'e Kanue! Ech Ca'dor eit prisc!

Nango and Kaleb turned quickly to see the guard open the gate in an extremely hasty manner. Nango turned, leaving Kaleb behind her and covering him with her arms as she yelled something at the huachi guard, who entered with spear in hand and in an attack stance.

Five other guards appeared at the door. Three of them approached Nango and tried to take her by the arms. She immediately defended herself, but the guards outnumbered her. The princess turned to Kaleb, while her guards pulled her away from the boy.

-Kaleb! No! Ih't Salme! -the princess yelled as she was dragged out of the dungeon.

-Nango! -Kaleb yelled loudly before the guards silenced him with a direct hit to the stomach-. Leave her alone, she didn't do anything... wrong -the boy said through the pain.

The guards seized Kaleb, released his shackles, and led him to the throne room.
