Kaleb looked at you, nodded firmly, convinced that this was the right thing to do, thanks to you.

-The truth is that we are all trapped in a book -he said. Hearing this, the Elder Huachis reacted with surprise, which alerted the rest of the Huachis-. I was locked up here by an evil entity -he continued.

The Huachi Elders began to whisper among themselves, breathless and clearly upset by what Kaleb was saying.

King Huachi began to frown.

-I came here trying to find a way out of imprisonment and if you guys are here, it means you're either a creation of that thing, or like me, it trapped you in this book too! -Kaleb exclaimed, almost shouting.

The Huachi Elders began to talk and murmur among themselves frantically, until King Huachi silenced them all with a thunderous roar and a slam of his hook on the armrest of the throne. He glared at Kaleb and exclaimed something as he pointed that big hook at him. His cephalopod translated.

-Take heem to the dunn-joon - said the cephalopod.

-What?! No! Wait! It's the truth! I swear! -Kaleb refuted nervously.

The guards took him by the arms, dragged him out of that room and into the dungeons of the water castle. Unlike the gallant corridors of the castle, the dungeon cells were made of rock walls and bars that seemed to be made of the same material as those spears the guards carried.

Already he could see that inside the dungeon the cells were flooded. When the guards opened the gate that had been assigned to the boy, he noticed that to enter them you had to go down some small stairs. As he began to descend them, he felt how with each step he sank deeper and deeper, until he touched the ground. From that point, Kaleb had to walk with his neck stretched out, because the water was almost up to his chin.

They made him walk to the end of the cell, where he was thrown roughly against the wall. The cephalopod released his hands, only to have the guards handcuffing his wrists, the other was diving in to chain his ankles. It wasn't until he felt both shackles close and crush his pants that he knew he was trapped in that place.

He watched the two guards swim out of the cell, close and secure it, then leave, leaving him alone with the sound of water gently lapping.

-It's not possible! -the boy yelled angrily-. I can't believe it, I should be free, I should be out!

This time his screams were accompanied by struggling that made the chains jingle and water splash.

-How is it possible? I got out of the maze, you guided me! How am I still inside this stupid book?! And now I'm here stuck in this place, I can't believe it! -the boy let out a cry of despair and then dropped. The water splashed one last time, and then there was silence.

Kaleb stared at the reflection of his face in the water for a moment.

-How am I going to get out of here? -he whispered to you.
