The whirlpool swallowed hm for a few seconds, dragged him and shook him until he shot out. When his body stopped spinning, Kaleb opened his eyes to see that he was in the depths of the sea. He looked up, expecting to catch the glare of the sun, but he only saw the gleam of some strange blue and pink rocks. He turned his gaze and managed to see what seemed to be a tunnel made of coral rocks, so he decided to swim towards it, hoping that the current had just carried him under a reef, or something similar. He hoped that he would be able to find the surface by swimming, but once he went through that tunnel, he came across a pit. He swam up where he saw a flash of rippling white.
Upon emerging he began to cough. It took him awhile to recover but with a few long breaths he managed to stay afloat. His eyes wandered around. It looked like a pool inside of a strangely decorated room. The walls seemed to be a type of stone that he could not recognize. It had an orange hue and was full of little dots that stood out, similar to when you have goosebumps and you see little bumps on your skin. The whole place was illuminated by these bright white rocks that had different shapes and sizes. The boy was able to swim to shore and quickly grab onto one.
He felt that texture on his arm and hand, as he continued to cough up water. Then he turned to you.
-Are you there? Khoff! -he said between coughs. His hair was matted, wet and heavy-. I think, I think I didn't get out -he said fearfully.
-Eku'ch echo! -said a strange voice in the distance.
Kaleb turned to look for it's origin, when he heard a second voice answer it.
-Po'ka! -the voice said, accompanied by what sounded like wet footsteps, making a heavy sound that ended in a "splash".
Kaleb then saw two humanoid silhouettes approaching where he was. The boy quickly took another deep breath and dove, sticking to the wall under the water in his best attempt to hide.
From there, he could see them arrive. They were two beings with shiny skin that seemed wet. One of them was bluish in color, and the other was greenish. Membranes seemed to come out of both arms, connected from the triceps to the wrists, and more coming out of their legs, connected from their calves to their heels. These membranes were transparent but thick enough to be noticeable even in the water. Their eyes were large and yellow, and their mouths had wide fangs. Both beings carried a weapon, that looked like a metal spear with a shell embedded in the tip.
Kaleb looked at you, again asking for your help.
-Those spears look dangerous, hide and hold your breath until they go away >
-These beings seem reasonable, try to explain the situation to them civilly >
