Waking up the next day, Kaleb was greeted at breakfast by his family, all dressed in elegant suits. Seeing the boy, in contrast, who was in his pajamas and had disheveled hair, they shouted in unison:

-Surprise! -with great happiness.

His mother came up to him and said:

-We want to commemorate you having flown out here, Kaleb, so we will have a family photo, like the ones we usually take every year.

-Eat your breakfast and then get changed, meanwhile we'll help papá get everything ready -said his sister.

The boy ate breakfast, changed and went downstairs with his family.

The room had been rearranged in such a way that the five of them could stand in front of the window that overlooked the garden. The mother fussed over eveyone in the way that only an excited mother can.

-You here, Cami. No, no, no, Victor, you here -she said.

The sound of a truck parking in front of the house was heard, followed by the sound of the doorbell.

Ding Dong!

-Señor Juan has arrived! -exclaimed his mother excitedly.

-I'll open it for you -said the father as he went to the door.

The mother was adjusting the collar of Kaleb's shirt when Señor Juan entered. The photographer was a man with a pronounced mustache who was dressed in a casual jacket and jeans, also carrying a tripod, camera, and lights.

-You used to set the timer to take our picture, Dad -Kaleb exclaimed.

-It's a special occasion, son, so we hired a professional -he said as he patted Señor Juan's shoulders-. He took the picture of our department at my work -he finished up.

The family settled into their seats when Señor Juan, in a laughing voice, said:

-Everyone get together!

SNAP!

Sounded the camera.

-One more -Señor Juan asked as he raised his finger and closed one eye, making that funny expression of all photographers when they're concentrating on their objective.

SNAP SNAP!

The camera sounded again.

-Ready -said Señor Juan-. Do you want to review them? -he asked as he handed the camera to the parents, who smiled.

The mother, seeing the photo, couldn't help but tear up and hug Kaleb as his father handed the camera to his sister and his younger brother, who were viewing the photos. Kaleb hugged his mother back, but something caught his attention. Seeing the front door, which was still open, he could make out the van in which Señor Juan arrived. It was a white van with the name of the photography company written in black on the side.
