He leaves the room and heads for the elevator, then inserts the key into the lock below the button on the panel. And it seems that this act calls the Hound, because he turns to hear it's roar. It seems angry this time.

Nervous, Kaleb turns the key quickly, as he does the button lights up a faded old yellow. Then he presses the button quickly and there is the heavy clicking of gears behind the wall, which is only contrasted by a new roar from the Hound in the distance.
