-What the heck is that thing?! -the boy exclaims as he runs past room after room. The beast was chasing him and was only a few meters behind. Even standing outside of the corner, lit now by the overhead lamps, it's shape was erratic and hard to make out. What seemed to be it's legs were deformed with each step, making them look like tentacles. It's body was large and seemed to be covered with hairs that looked more like spines and covered in a strange way.
The most distinguishable thing about the beast, truly, were it's impressive teeth. Those teeth looked sharp as daggers, and gave the impression of abnormally replacing each other, inside it's snout, as if they moved one by one, advancing and making room for another row of fangs, all in an inward direction towards the back of it's maw. Kaleb thought that this must be a method so that when biting it's prey, the same teeth would only pull them deeper and deeper into it's mouth, to devour them more easily.
Kaleb did not stop running and despite this, little by little, he began to notice that the beast was catching up with him. In a moment of lucidity, in the midst of a panic, he took the can of "Dinosaur Food" out of his backpack and threw it at the creature, which caught it in it's mouth and bit into it, causing the can to explode, smearing food in the whole room. The creature seemed to like it, because it was entertained "licking" (if that's what you could call what it was doing) the walls and floor.
-That will give us a moment!
