Fuego kicked down the burning door, then entered with sword in hand, its blade ablaze with flames.

The captain saw the boy and with fury and rage exclaimed:

-Damned idiot worm, I'll give you to Caronte myself!

-Try it! -the boy snarled at the pirate, while he held the spear.

Fuego lunged at the boy, but he fired the plasma. Fuego used his flaming arm to successfully block the shots, as the plasma evaporated upon encountering the pirate's flame, but one of the shots managed to hit his shoulder.

Fuego roared and turned to see the hole left by the shot in his body, then he became enraged and the hole filled with flames just like his arm.

-Damn it!

Fuego launched himself at the boy, who kept shooting and tried to avoid his attacks. He charged up an attack that allowed Kaleb to shoot him several times in a row, most of the shots hitting their targets, creating more wounds on the pirate's body, but these only filled with flames. When Fuego launched his arm attack, Kaleb didn't have the agility to dodge completely and the flames reached his side, burning him.

The boy let out a scream and fell to the ground, dropping the spear.

Fuego walked up to him, took the vial from the boy's hands and crushed the fiery wound on his body with his boot.

-Open up -he ordered.

Kaleb couldn't help but let out a yell, but just as Fuego was about to empty the vial two of those shadow creatures jumped at him, biting and scratching him. Fuego, between moans, backed down and burned them, but others appeared and began to attack him, surrounding him.

The boy takes the opportunity to crawl and try to get out of there, but when he knelt to stand up, he found three of those creatures that were watching him.
