Kaleb fired swiftly towards the ice arm of the Ma'ldema R'he.

The shots made small holes in the beast's arm, but it was too big and the holes regenerated very quickly, barely slowing down its movement.

The Ma'ldema R'he sensed the boy shooting at it in the distance and launched its anchor in his direction. The anchor did not reach where Kaleb was with the vehicle, but the impact on the ice caused it to form into a huge crack.

Kaleb felt the vehicle shake and immediately cold water splashed around him. The ship suddenly sank with him on board.

He attempted to swim to the surface through the icy water but before he could, the Ma'ldema R'he used its ice arm to freeze the water again, closing the gap and trapping the boy there.
